Learn four skills at once

Read "Easy Cooking, Gardening, or Fishing Skill" by Tony Ortale. Keep repeating Tony's steps until each skill channel has been viewed. The Sim will keep learning the three skills as he or she goes on about their daily life, and four when doing skill activities.

Avoid Death

Go to Pleasant Rest Graveyard. Near the gate is a bush called "Death Flower Bush". Harvest the flower from it and keep it in your Sim's inventory. If you die, that Sim will give that flower to the Grim Reaper and be resurrected. Although the flower will not reappear there again, if your Sim has level 7 Gardening they can plant the Unknown Special Seeds found in the graveyard and some other places that have a chance to grown as a Death Flower. Note: Having the Green Thumb trait to revive the plant may help.

An artists stash

Get to level 6 and above in painting, you will now be able to sell your paintings for 1000 sim bucks and above, hope this helps for some easy money.

Advance age

Use the following trick to change your Sim's age (toddler, child, teen,etc.) quickly. Buy a birthday cake from the grocery store and place it somewhere on your lot. Click the cake and select "Have Birthday". Then, choose the Sim to be aged. This is a good method to get past the baby stage.

Increase chance for multiple births

To have an increased chance of having twins or triplets, have one or both parents have the lifetime reward of Fertility Treatment.

Increase chance to have boy babies

Have a pregnant female Sim eat apples to increase the chance of having a boy.

Getting rid of dirty dishes

Drag an empty plate into a Sim's inventory then drag it to sell. You will not make any money, but if your Sim does not have a dish washer, it is fast and efficient.

Saving money

No matter how many times you use an object, if you sell it in the same day you can get all your money back. If your Sim is poor and needs body points or something else, buy a body machine and keep selling it back to get a refund of all your money.

Easy money

Start writing novels on your computer. Write fiction novels as they take the least amount of time. They will not bring you too much Simoleons. When you write, your skill will automatically advance. If your skill is high enough you will be able to write more novel types/genres. The most money can be made from "Romance Novels". You will get royalties for six weeks once you finish a book. With the "Writing" skill maxed out, you can make about 40,000 Simoleons every week, which is more than the 34,800 Simoleons you can get by purchasing all neighborhood businesses, and takes less time to achieve. In three game weeks you should have a very high speed writing, 9 or 10 novels as best sellers and 100,000 Simoleons.

Fast Easy Money

Go to the fresh food store [idk the name of it, but its to the left of some resturaunt thing]. Under 'buy' look for catfish. Find the catfish that has three stars on the left side of it. Buy 60. Now go home, and click your fridge, select open. On the tope left of the screen select the backpack. Put all of your catfish into your fridge. Now hit 'B' to get out of that screen. Now, while holding 'c' count to 20. Now click your fridge and click 'open' now remove the catfish. Now go back to the fresh food store place. Click 'shop'. Now in the top left corner of the screen there should be three boxes, click the midde one. Now click the catfish, and sell all of them! ALL. Then complete it by clicking the third box in the top left corner and click the 'sell' button or whatever it is. Now you should have $999,999.00. And now when you buy something, it wont cost anything at all. You will always have $999,999.00. Hope that solved your money problems. (:

Town hall upgrade, and hotel...

All you neef to do to get your town hall upgraded is have married couple, once married in the top right coner is a thing that says town evilution. And all you need to do to get your hotel upgraded is to do the cat fish cheat. If you dont know it, it is when you buy 100 cat fish put them in the frige Wait 20 seconds (sim seconds) and sell them back to the store. When you get $999,999.000 the top right corner well be a thing that says town evilution. Now you have lots of money a family and a better town! Ya you!

How to get random "Dirty Surroundings" moodlet off.

I have heard people complaining about whenever they go into their kitchen a random "Dirty Surroundings" or "Disgusted" moodlet appears, here's the solution, if you are just a plain idot you may have forgottne to take the trash out. If not, then follow my instructions. This happened to me once when I was in my mansion, my Sim walked in and wanted to cook something, so I take her to the fridge and she started cooking, but then a moodlet that said "Dirty Surroundings" appeared, first I checked my trash can, nope that wasn't the problem. I got really confused so I opened up "Build and Buy Mode" and I moved my counters around. It turns out, theres a dirty plate UNDER one of the counters. I only did tjis in the mansion on top of the hill up north, so it may or may not work for other houses but thats my solution. Hope it helped :). Keep on Simming!!!!!

Ghost babies

Make a married couple male and a female buy a new house make your male go in one room be sure your female is not in same room put the male in a bedroom make sure ou have an extra bed for femal make sure male is in an empty room then when he is dead make sure to put back the door and get his grave take him to the science lab his grave and they will return him as a ghost then you no how to make a baby good luck!

How to get 999,999 simeleons

Go to the market and buy 53 or 60 three star catfish. Then go home and put them in the fridge. You can sleep or fat forward while there in you fridge. (press C on nunchuck to fast forward) take them back to the market and sell them. then you'll have 999,999 simleons.

Twins, Triplets, Quadruplets, Oh My!

What you'll need: A female, a male, a house, and a bed. First, Have a relationship with a guy (that you love), marry him, live life and then if your ready to have a child, Do the "Try for baby" if you can't find it then they're not ready yet, If it is there they'll kiss with a pair of shoes above their heads and then they'll go upstairs and try for a baby. A few days later your female sim will change clothes and get new moods. Your sims (Note: Your sim may leave work) will be rushed to the hospital to give birth, You wont know want gender unless you had the "Have a girl" or "Have a boy" wish. After going home immediately "Try for baby" again to have twins, Repeat for Triplets and so on..(They will look alike but differ gender)

Goth mansion

Easy change your last name to goth and buy a gothic mansion at buy mod and then if the fire code says fire violation than click b and then add more rooms and furniture if you want and then click your sim and click change clothes and then change to formal wait a few sim minutes and ta da you get a gothic mansion. PS only works for wii and pc.

Get the charming Chalet House

Ok, so there are a few houses (Green House, Goth Mansion, Adobe Estate, etc.) that you can't buy because of the fire code (it's a game glitch there's not much that can be done). Most people on cheat sites will say that the Chalet is one of the houses that you can't buy but I've found a way to get it that really works (it can only be done when you star a new game*).

First at the beggining of the game buy the empty with nothing but a fridge (DON'T BUY A HOUSE FOR IT) and then you do the catfish cheat [go to the store buy 60 catfish you don't really need 100 to get the infinite simoleons and it doesn't matter if it has 1 star or 3) now go to you lot put the fish in the fridge for at least 30-40 sim-minutes ( if you don't know how you just have to press the fridge, press open and then press the little backpack at the left topside corner then you'll see the fish and you just keep pressing on it until you empty all the fish in the fridge). Ok , so after the 30-40 minutes have passed take them out of the fridge, then go to build/buy mode and sell the fridge then go to the supermarket and sell all the fish and you'll have infinite simoleons.]

Next you press 2 on your remote on the lower right side of the screen press the word moving, sell your lot. Then go to the biggest house above the school and buy it unfurnished*, now go to build/buy mode and make sure you sell all the doors and stairs in the house unless you want to keep them and use them latter (you won't be able to sell the doors on the first floor though). After you sell all doors and stairs (if you want, I prefer to) sell the house. Now you just have to buy the Chalet place it in your lot ( the game will probably show you the fire code message so make sure you buy everything you want for the house or you won't be able to buy it later).

Various Glitches

Right, the Sims 3 wii cheats are not any of the ones submitted above. As far as I know those ones are for the PC. There are some glitches and cheats and tips etc that I do know.

Glitches:
Honestly there are so many glitches in this game they are hard to list all of them but some are:

1. When you have a kid and it comes to naming it, they do not tell you the gender of the baby beforehand. So you have to name it not knowing if it is a boy or a girl. If you are an optimistic person then you may see this as an added "suprise" and lucky chance in the game, if you are not then you will find it plain annoying. I have found something that helps though-if you get the option to lock in "Have a baby boy/girl" then do, and if when you are naming the baby it lights up (you have completed it) then you know what gender it is. I hope you get what I mean.

2. Best property on the hill-DON'T buy it furnished:
The best property (the big one above the school on the coast) has a fridge glitch. You can't use it. Which, when you have hungary sims sucks. Because it has no free space either you can't buy a new one, and the glitch also makes it useless to use/move/sell etc. I would just buy it unfurnished if you desperatly want it and furnish it yourself. It is a faff but hey, glitch free.

3. Empty field property thing: Okay, if you want to buy this empty lot and choose your house then great. I usually do that. However DON'T buy it and then sell it then want to go back. If you sell the house individually (not the lot) then it still remembers the space it took up. Therefore not enabling you to build much more. Damn. So don't do that. If you want to sell it make sure you don't want to get it back.

4. Hmmm....cheapo house apartment: I don't know if this happens all the time but sometimes if you buy the really cheap apartment and then sell it and move somewhere else you can go back in it to effectively live. I don't know if that was a one off though.

5. I would advise...When you invite someone round don't ever save and end the game whilst they are still there. I have found this makes it hard to get them around again, in fact I think it crashes the game a bit so they can't come round. Just a tip.

6. There are loads of general glitches too like sometimes my sim gets stuck in the wall. To get them out just press 2 and drive somewhere around town. Very often fridges go wrong, like saying there are belgium waffles around but there aren't... also bad smells that sometimes occur when nothing is causing them, that really annoys me because that upsets the sims.

7. Oh yeah, and loads of the pre-loaded properties don't work. They take up too much space, for instance the Chalet, the Green house, the gothic mansion. Those things. Which is really bad.

Stuff you can't do on sims that is rumoured you can:
- Have twins/triplets etc.
- Ghosts-they don't exist
- Vampires-nope.
- Build your own houses (they are all programmed on)
- Resussetate the sim-sorry about the spelling.
- Stop aging the sim.

The Glitches of the house boat

So one day i was playing my Sims 3 for the wii and i wanted a big House for my Daughter and my boyfriend. But of course the lot wasn't big enough. So i brought the house boat because it had enough room for all of us. So i brought it with the furniture and everything but when i look around i went into the room my daughter was using and there was a CRIB. So i thought this must be a mistake, so i quit brought the house again and it was still there. As you know you can't have babies only full-grown children.I tried to see if you can do anything with it but of course you can't! So if you have a family of three with only one child and a boyfriend and close friend or a husband and buy the boathouse with the furniture don't be alarmed it is only there for decoration.

Have more than one child at a time

Get your girl sim pregnet and right after she has the baby get the husband or boyfriend a click on try for baby after they r done the screen will say sim has been taking to the hospital to give birth and she will have another baby. (this will keep on until 24 hours after, in sim time of course, she has the baby)

Have 999,999 simoleons

Hi, I found this glitch a couple of weeks ago and it is pretty awesome. If you have started your Sim, buy a cheap house (I prefer the on in front of the sheriff station unfurnished and just put all the stuff you need like a bed and a toilet, you need a fridge too etc.) Go to the fruit store/supermarket and go to the fish section, you will see lots of fish there, buy 50 - 100 catfish, they have to 3 star, it will say it somewhere. It will be about 900 - 1000 simoleons, it is not that much is you think about it. Buy them and go back to your house, you should of bought a fridge at the start of the game, go to the fridge and click 'Open'. It will have nothing in it, at the top you can see a backpack, click on it and you will be able to see your catfish, click on them and put all of them in the fridge. Then close the fridge, do something that will take one day, you have to wait one day (Sim's days, not real life).

When it has been a day (24 hours, NOTE; IT HAS TO BE THE TIME WHEN YOU PUT THEM IN THE FRIDGE THAT PREVIOUS DAY! LIKE IF I PUT THEM IN AT 7:45, I WOULD TAKE THEM OUT AT THAT TIME) Go to the fridge and take all of the catfish out, go back to the fruit store/supermarket and at the top it will have 3 options, 'buy' & 'sell' & 'done'.

Click sell, next to the catfish, it will say the price it was be selt for, I got up to 17,500 simoleons, keep selling untill the simoleons get to 999,999 simoleons. DON'T KEEP CLICKING WHEN IT REACHES 999,999 SIMOLEONS, YOU WILL BE WASTING THE REST OF YOUR CATFISH!
Now you can click 'done'.

Now you have 999,999 simoleons! If your lifetime wish is, 'Live in the lap of luxery', you will complete that wish and get up to 30,000 karma points. Now you can buy a nice house, and just better furniture, enjoy your life on the sims! I hope this helps, this is a great glitch for anyone and will make you RICH!

Having infinite money

You can get infinite money by buying 80 cat fish people have said you need 100 you dont 80 is enough (make sure they have 3 stars) then put them all in the fridge for 20 SIM minutes not a day as some people have said then take them out and go back to the shop and sell all the fish and then it will be stuck on 999,999 but when you go to spend any it will not count down this also gives you a life time wish accomplishment if you put have 200,000 in cash as your wish and it will also give you town evolution
